Etaa sere, Maasai (05:36)

"Home is not far away when you're alive."
Beautiful journey of the Maasai life in a day.

A short animation exploring ways of Maasai life in a day. 'Etaa sere' means farewell greeting in Maa (Maa is their languages). I’ve been interested in Maasai culture and their way of life since I visited Kenya and Tanzania, and I want to make short animation video about Maasai ethnic group, especially how they've changed in a modern way, and what exactly 'modern' means.
Research with interviews with Maasai people, African museum, articles and books
Storyboard

Early morning in the forest, a baby Maasai is born and she/he grows up during a day following their traditional custom. When next day comes, there are people living in adopted way in the city and somewhere outside their home. Wherever they are, they will remain their own culture and pride in their mind.
